OVERVIEW

Why this Symposium exists

The Iteso and wider Ateker communities share deep cultural, historical and familial bonds across borders. This Symposium seeks to transform that unity into practical economic cooperation by connecting people, businesses, capital, knowledge, technology and markets.

It is designed to move beyond conversation and create tangible opportunities in trade, investment, enterprise, agriculture, youth entrepreneurship, technology, manufacturing and the creative economy, while building lasting networks across the region and the diaspora.

Our cultural connections give us identity. Our economic cooperation can give us prosperity.
