Paramount Cultural Leader of the Iteso
His Royal Highness Emorimor Papa Iteso III, Paul Sande Emolot Etomeileng, is the Paramount Cultural Leader of the Iteso and the head of the Iteso Cultural Union. Installed as the third Emorimor in October 2022, he serves as a custodian of Iteso heritage, traditions and identity across Uganda, Kenya and the diaspora.
His leadership has placed strong emphasis on cultural unity, education, youth empowerment, economic development and stronger connections among Iteso communities across borders. He has also championed greater economic cooperation within the wider Ateker community, particularly through trade, agriculture and shared opportunities.
