Three weeks, one legacy
Official Launch — Alupe University
The Green Heritage Initiative formally begins with a launch ceremony at Alupe University, marking the start of the planting period.
Community Planting & Seedling Distribution
Seedlings are distributed to participating communities and sites across the region, with planting continuing through the lead-up to the main celebration.
Symbolic Tree Planting
A symbolic planting takes place as part of the main D-Day programme at Amagoro Primary School, culminating the initiative within the coronation celebrations.
An Ongoing Legacy
the initiative continues after October 2026, including maintenance, community stewardship and future targets.
